I've never been any place like IHOP-KC. I was introduced to IHOP-KC through my spiritual mentors Jeanne and David Costello 4 years ago and although at first I was in complete denial that I would leave my home, family and friends in Boston to move here, I have not regretted for one moment that being here was always part of my destiny and God's divine plan. I am more in love with Jesus and more in love with the Scriptures than ever before. Being in a place where the Word of God is not only taught, but is lived out, and being in community with other people who are pressing into the Lord, is both an honor and a privilege.

 

When I joined the IHOP staff as an intercessory missionary, I immediately joined a prayer team and spent from 12-14 hours daily in the prayer room for my first 2 years that I was on the Missions Base, what joy! Shortly thereafter I had the opportunity to put my marketplace experience to use. I was asked to be a part of Forerunner Media Group the department on the Missions Base that has been given the responsibility to take all of the messages and music that the Lord has given to Mike Bickle and the Worship Leaders here at IHOP-KC and release these oracles into the nations. While I was in that position I served as the Operations Manager for the Live Prayer Room CD called "The Limited Edition".

I recently took a huge leap of faith and made the decision to bring my mom a widow that was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in Boston to Kansas City, MO to live with me to care for her and to contend for her complete healing. Although difficult at times Abba has been using this experience to show me how much I still need to learn about loving unconditionally as He loves (1 Corinthians 13) and that as He is raising up people to not only take care of the orphan but also his precious widow.

On Wednesday evenings I host a Soaking Prayer Center for all the Leaders and Staff at the IHOP-KC that need a place of safety to come and be like little children again. It is a time that every missionary can come and not be busy doing and pouring out but it is a time to relax, wait, listen and receive from our heavenly Father. During these evenings we have seen Holy Spirit come and not only release outer healing but inner emotional healing that only Father's hand could reach. Through this Soaking Center it is my desire that every person that steps through these doors would personally experience the Father's love for themselves.

Currently I am no longer part of Forerunner Media Group but am much more focused now doing what I know I was brought here to do which was to go deeper into the revelation of our Papa Father and to share that revelation with all those that have a deeper hunger to experience this love, I continue to serve Him as a daughter in the International House of Prayer, as well taking care of my precious mom and serving the community through the Soaking Prayer Center which is growing weekly.
